Cruising during Spring Break

Who knew I still had this blog.......

Well, this is from 2018, this DRAFT I had created of picture form the last cruise we went on.
2018 was a great travel year, we went on the cruise for spring break to St Thomas, Puerto Rico, the Bahamas. Turks and Caicos and then spend some time in Miami with he Ochaitas.

Then in November we went to New York and did ALL the tourist things as well as watch the Cursed Child (both parts) with the ORIGINAL CAST, it was so amazing. We can't wait to go back.

And then in December, we went to Guatemala for three weeks for GianCarlos's wedding. It was so, so, so, so, nice. We spend time with family, went to Peten and took the boys to Tikal, and of course, went to Antigua. Pablo and I also renewed our vows, nothing big at all, we just had the mention of our name during mass, at the same church we got married. It was super duper nice. We were supposed to go back this year but then.....

2019, we did go to LA several times to go to Universal and Pablo and I went to Vegas. Debbie and Alejandra came in November and it was nice to have them here for some weeks.

2020 is a crazy mess with Covid-19 and Black Lives Matter movement. But I think this actually needs its own post. I also started a Ph.D. program, I know WHAT THE HECK....

Maybe I should start writing this blog again..... we will see.

Life during January....

How is it past the middle of January already.

What a busy month it has being at work. I have had meetings and assessments non stop, to top it off we got sick and I still have a random cough :/ Matthew seems to be getting sick again (NO).

So here is a run down -

January 1 started with Matthew and Pablo going to the 49er game while Zachary and I ran a few errands and went to work to prep for the week to come. We did have a yummy dinner at Pizza My Heart.

January 3 we all went back to work, it was nice to see all my kiddos and start a new SEAL theme but I sure missed waling up late and taking naps.

January 5 was the first Sharks game of 2017, we lost, so sad :( but we still had fun

January 7 Zachary started hockey again, man it is cold at the ice rink so early but it is so worth it to see him do what he likes. Matthew also decided that he does want to play soccer in the Spring so he will start again in March.

January 13 we finished planning our family vacation and Pablo and I couple trip for Julieann's wedding. So excited, only good thing about time passing fast!

January 14 Andres' birthday!! Zachary and I celebrated by going to a Sharks game, that we also lost, man it was not our day, we love them but they played horrible.

January 16 the 4 of us went to watch the Sharks play, we don't go watch them all together often so it was a nice treat. The game was amazing, we saw Ward (42) and the boys got his autograph and we WAN woohoo!!! They have being laying pretty good since then.

January 21 ALL of us went to the Women's March here in San Jose, we marched for women rights, the climate, planned parenthood, LBGTQ rights, immigrating,  education just to name a few. It was a GREAT experience, the fight has just started this is the time to stand for what it is right.

And now here we are. The boys and I missed school/work as we were all feeling sick, but hopefully we are out of it and we won't need to miss more days. I am excited for February to come, Universal Studious, more Sharks games, and my birthday!!!!

Hope you are all having a garret month!

this and that

Here are some things that have being happening this past couple of weeks.

My cousin Jessica posted this on FB and this is so me!!! I love it...

The boys have made two new fiends at work. Monica and John, I think they may be the highlight of their morning and afternoon. We are very lucky to have them both in our lives!!!

Finally found some Harry potter paper clips for my planner, but now I am afraid of using the because they are so awesome!! (A planner and book blog post are on the works at the moment, coming very soon)

I keep wondering why people had two planners and always carried so much stuff with me, ahhhhh I am one of them lol. One planner for work, one for personal use, and my list challenge notebook.

Went to the Incubus concert at the end of August. Thanks Jackie and John for the VIP tickets. It was great hanging out with you guys. Lets do it again!!!!

Back to school for the boys. I got my own private classroom viewing lol. It helps when your kids go to school when you work lol. We have the best 2nd grade teacher ever. The boys LOVE her and they are loving school YAY. this make a very happy mom.

This is how they end almost everyday. So cute. Of course this is after they have played in my class for about an hour, They never want to leave even when I have nothing to do. I know that is extremely rare but there is the occasional day or two.

YAY the PSL is back!!!!! How at this cute teacher cozie (no idea of spelling). As much as I love it, I am not sharing where it is from, because the costumer services was HORRIBLE..

Yesterday we went to the Greek festival in Belmont with Brianna. it was lots of fun and the food was delicious  too bad it was over 90 degrees. Always fun to hang out with Brianna, can't wait to see her again.

HURRAY

The boys have sleep all week in their beds with no fuss, after they watch their show and drink their milk, I tell them is bed time and I walk to their room to turn on the iHome and they climb into their bed and go to sleep. Yesterday they were there all night until 5:45 am when Matt came into our room. Is so nice to be able to move in my bed without thinking I will crush a baby, even thought I do miss the cuddling I am happy so happy they are in their beds, they for sure are big boys now!!

my boys.........

The boys are getting so big and so cute.

They are both 33 inches and Matthew weights 27 lbs 8oz and Zachary 27 lbs 2 oz.

They are not taking as much as I would want them or expect them too but everyday it seems that they say more and more things so I am not as worried as I was about a month ago. They say bye, pish (fish), shoe, ookie (cookie), uz (juice), ore (more), and some other stuff we have no idea about.

They love black beans and mac/cheese, they like corn, fruit, cookies, gold fish, sadly they also like soda, they eat chicken nuggets but I have to take the fried stuff off, they like french fries. Matthew tries everything while Zachary doesn't really want anything new. Matthew has a sweet tooth (just like mommy) they both like ice-cream.

They love Disneyland, they have so much fun and their favorite ride is the Carousel, we also do the Pooh ride, dumbo, small world, the train and the little ones. They hugs their mickey stuffed animal and they know that when they see their mickey shirts means we are going to dland.

I also took them to the zoo during spring break. Man it was super HOT but they still had fun. We went with Sarah and Brody and it was so nice to hang out with them and see all the animals. It was a little hard for me cause I couldn't take them off the stroller as they each go on their own direction when they are set free (hahaha) but we still have fun. Hopefully we can go again soon and let them run around a little bit.

Last week we started our music and movement class again. Matthew did his angry face a lot but he also stood up and danced it was great to see. Zachary is still shy during the class and wants to stay near mommy and daddy.

They absolutely love bath time, now I have to give them extra time to play after they are washed haha.

They seeped in their own bed in their own room for about three weeks, until Matthew learned how to open the door and how to take off the door knob lock ahhh so they are back in our bed and trust me I am about to sleep in their bed their is no room in our bed any more.

Below are a few pictures. Matthew is in the green towel after bath time. Zachary is in the blue towel after bath and in the last picture Zach is reading Twilight :)

the week so far

so far we have had a great week. Monday we ran some errands and the boys got haircuts even thought we did not cut a lot so you cannot really tell. Tuesday I ran some errands on my own and today the boys went with me to the Dr, and albertsons and trader joes (trying to finish all the grocery shopping) then we went to see the xmas lights when Pablo got home and now they are sleeping, without us in the bed YAY!!
I love been home and spending all day with them they are truly amazing, I love how they play together now and call each other to play, I am so glad they have each other to play with, and get in trouble with and fight with haha they are just wonderful!!

Zachary reading a book while Matthew turns around

watching their music video

reading in their PJ's

Zachary with the book upside down

Matthew with the book upside down

trying to get the lights, Matthew closes his eyes and I am sure he thinks that if he doesn't see me, I don't see him, silly boy!!
