This was for sure the shortest Vegas trip ever, ever!!!
Michele and I left San Jose Saturday at 9 am and our flight from Vegas back to San Jose was Sunday at 9 am. I know CRAZY!!
We stayed at the Westin on Flamingo street, behind the Venetian (around that area). It was nice and peaceful.
We had the best dinner ever at Sake rock. Confession, since finding this place in March, we have eaten there every time we have gone. And if you follow my IG and FB you know it was a lot of times. The food is just so good, and the show (starting at 6) its amazing.
Reason we did such a short Vegas trip, it was Ricky Martin's last Vegas performance. yes I know I saw him in April and if I lived in Vegas I would had probably watched him once a week. But I could not miss seen him again, when he was so close.
The show was amazing as always. I was sweating from all the dancing. This time I saw him from a higher level (not the floor, man I loved the floor), but it was great as I got to see the whole show. Michele had a great time and I think she may be a Ricky fan now.
I also got to see Lisa, I meet her at the crazy long lines for Ricky's book signing in LA some years ago, and thanks to social media we have stayed in touch. It was so nice to see her and chat with her.
I did not take a lot of pictures. I am learning to be more present and in the moment, experience everything first had rather than thru the screen of my phone.
Someone asked me "what do you pack for a trip to Vegas that will last less than 24 hours?" so here it is; PJs, socks, sandals, concert shoes and clothing, comfy clothes for the next morning flight, a light jacket, and bathroom essentials, and don't forget your phone charger. Nothing else. I had no options, so I am glad I did not change my mind of wearing what I did. Which by the way was the same thing Michele wore, as we totally bought the same shirt at target but not together, so we wore it to the concert, oh and we wore the same sandals on Saturday lol
