Happy 1/2 birthday to the boys!!!!

The boys are now six months :) I am amazed at how fast this six months have gone by and all the wonderful memories we have had with them already!!! They sure have come a long way from being 5 lbs to whopping 19 lbs for Matt and 18lbs for Zach they are both 27 inches. Who would have thought they would be this big at six months when they were born and so little with those chicken legs.

* The boys do love to eat they are now eating apples, bananas, pears, peas, peas with brown rice, acorn squash, winter squash and peaches.

* They are also holding the bottles, well the little ones but hey we are getting there.

* They having being sleeping the whole night since the second with an exception of a poopie diaper (Matt) and crankiness from shots (Zach)

* We have gone two different classes and they did NOT cry at either one, they love it

* They try to sit and can stay sitting for a few seconds with out being held

* They really try to stand up and if they get a hold of something stable they can stand for a while with no help

* They are wearing size up to 9 months
* They grab a hold of whatever is near them, books, toys, plates, hair
* They are teething both top and bottom but they don't complain all the time but when they do oh man they are LOUD
* We brush their gums now, we read that after 4 months their gums should be brushed twice a day and they actually like it, it might feel good cause of the teething
* They still like the "Wonder Pets", they have their favorite episodes and some not so favorite, they know the song and smile and laugh when we sing for them and dance
The 2nd (when they turned six months) we had six donuts, we placed a candle in two of them and sang happy half birthday, they seem kind of confused but were all smiles specially with the smoke from the candles. Then Saturday when family and friends came over to celebrate my bday I baked them a "Happy 1/2 bday" cake I even made the frosting, it was pretty yummy.
I feel extremely blessed to have the boys here and healthy, I could not imagine life with out them, they have brought joy and happiness to our life. When people ask us if it is hard we always say no, is not hard at all, it is a blessing, and I think we are the luckiest people in the world!!!
