A review of 2008

Wow I can't believe that 2008 is over already (well in about two hours). 2008 was a great year it had its ups and downs. A year ago today (at around this time) we found out we were having a baby.

So here is a review of what happened:

January 05 it was confirmed by the Dr, we were expecting. (below 5 weeks pregnant we found out the day before)

January 10, we moved to the building were my mom lives to a two bedroom, we need the room
January 28, we got the news that we were expecting triplets
February 09, Pablo's mom passed away. We miss her so much!!!
February 18, one of the babies did not make it
March 28-31, cruise
March 29, Esteban is born (Alex and Marta's baby)
March 31, we got the news that the babies were boys, we had names right away
April - nothing really just got my belly bigger and bigger
May 13, last day of work
May 15, Brody is here (Sarah's baby)
May 20, Vegas
May - Ximena is born (Rosita and Giovanni's baby)
June 14, baby shower
June 26, baby shower
June - all of the labor and deliver, taking care of baby classes
July - more classes
August 02, the boys arrived at 10:05 and 10:06 am YEAH


August 14, boys came home (after a 12 days in the NICU). First picture as a family.

October 02, boys first set of shots
October 02-20, boys had bronchiolitis
October 31, first Halloween
November 01, we moved, yes again to a little house by the park, we LOVE it here
November 27, first Thanksgiving, we were so thankful to have the boys with us!!
December all months - great festivities getting together with friends, dinners, parties, all firsts with the boys
December 16, boys sleep in their own crib in their bed for the first time
December 24 & 25, boys first Xmas (man did they get lots of toys)
December 28-30, road trip

December 31, today. boys are already sleeping. Last picture of 2008 as a family.




As you can see all year was about being pregnant/babies. Life has sure change, we went from being just the two of us to having a full house in just one day. I cannot believe that I am a mommy of twin boys that have change my whole life. I love experiencing things now thru the boys eyes, every day things are new experiences. Pablo has become such a wonderful dad and I love seen the boys with him, the way they smile at him and want to be near him, he is just great with them. We are also very lucky to have my mom here with us she is such a great help any time of the day, the boys love her and her silliness, the boys are lucky to have her. We have sure being blessed with our great family and all the love they have shown for the boys.
